Scotchgard Outdoor Water Shield
Hey Everyone!
Today, I am sharing a great product with you that I wouldn’t want to be without during the winter season! It’s Scotchgard Outdoor Water Shield. Do you have a coat, snow pants, boots, or gloves that aren’t as waterproof as they were when you got them? Or were they never as waterproof as you wanted them to be? This can be your solution.
Shane and I spray our snowboarding gear at least once before the season starts and then whenever we notice our gear start to need it again. In my experience, nothing can be waterproof forever, even when you buy expensive gear.
I hear a lot of people buying new gear year after year because it isn’t performing the way they think it should. If that’s your thing and you enjoy getting new gear all the time then you do you! I just like to get as much wear as I can out of each item I own because I truly love my gear. Not only that, but it saves Shane and I tons of money!
It doesn’t only have to be items that you are enjoying snow activities in either. We first discovered this product when Shane had to wear dress shoes in the snow. Unfortunately his feet were always cold and wet. He was miserable until we sprayed his shoes with this product. We were amazed with how well it worked and decided to try it on other things!
I wanted to show you guys some of the things that I have use this on.
Thanks so much for reading today. I hope you love this post. I really think that this product can help to extend the life of your gear and minimize waste. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

1 Package Hard or Soft Taco Shells
1 Package Seasoned Pork Carnitas
1 Avocado Diced
1 Bundle of Cilantro Chopped
1 Jar of Jalapenos
1 Bag Mexican Style Shredded Cheese
1 Container of Sour Cream
1 Jar of Avocado Salsa
1 Red Onion Diced
1 Tomato Diced
1 Lime Sliced into Small Wedges
Recipe:
- Heat your soft taco shells in a skillet for 15-30 seconds or heat your hard taco shells in the oven on 200 degrees fahrenheit for 4-5 minutes.
- While your shells are heating, cook your seasoned pork carnitas according to the package instructions. (I like the Kroger brand and I heat it in the microwave for 4 minutes).
- When your meat has finished heating shred it. (I use my KitchenAid.)
- Add your desired amount of meat to your taco shells.
- Proceed to add the ingredients you want from above, you can add as much or as little as you want.

Mind Dump
Hi Everyone!
Today, I am sharing with you one of my favorite self-care techniques. It’s great for when you have a million things on your mind and can be used at any time of the day. I would say my two favorite times to use it are when I am super busy at work or when I can’t sleep because I can’t stop thinking about something. It helps me to feel more calm and under control.
So what is a mind dump?
A mind dump is where you basically write down everything that is on your mind. It could be your frustrations, things you need to do, things you don’t want to forget, etc. This way your brain can stop thinking about that thing and stop stressing about it. As long as you have it somewhere, it will help your brain to think more clearly and calmly. Once you have written everything down, you can organize your things under topics. I use ASAP, to do, and Unimportant. My things usually fall under the first two.
This technique really helps me out with work and sleeping better. I usually use it at work when I have a lot of things that I am doing but I need to remember to do something later on. I usually get bombarded with questions when I am doing my rounds for work but I am currently working on a project that is urgent. I just write down concerns and get back to them at a later time. This way I will remember to deal with them, without dropping what I am doing. Another time I frequently use this is in the middle of the night. Sometimes, I have multiple things going on in my life and I get pretty overwhelmed. I will think of something I forgot to do the previous day and it will keep me up, until I do something about it. Sometimes, it is even multiple things that pop up in my mind. I will just roll over and write it down or type out a note in my phone. Usually when I do this, my mind will finally shut off and I am able to sleep.
Mind dump’s help your brain to focus on the task currently at hand. It helps you to be able to do whatever you are doing more effectively and efficiently.
I have created a free printout that you are welcome to use, just fill out the box below and the PDF will be sent to your email.
I hope you try this out. It works really well for me. Let me know what you think in the comments below. As always, thanks so much for reading and for your continued support.

Partner Abs
Hey Everyone!
Today, I am sharing a fun ab workout to do with your partner. It’s super fun and can be modified if you are doing it from home. You can use a large pillow or something similar instead of a ball. I love being able to workout with Shane. It makes it much more enjoyable.
I do three sets of the following:
Ball Pass Decline Russian Twists 10 Reps
Leg Pushdowns 10 Reps (Random Pushes)
Ball Pass Situp 10 Reps
Here is a video of me doing these exercises so that you can see what they are if you are unfamiliar with them! The video is sped up slightly. When you do these exercises keep your movements slow and controlled. You will see results faster if you do this. Also try to make sure that you are engaging your abs properly.
I hope you loved today’s workout! Let me know what you think in the comments below. If you want to see more workouts like this please subscribe below for weekly emails. Thank you so much for checking out today’s post.
