Hamstrings & Booty Workout
Hey Everyone!
Today, I’ve got a great hamstrings and booty workout!! I like to periodically add these into my leg day routine. I can really feel this workout in my hamstrings while doing it and for a few days after as well. So make sure to roll out if you do it! I like to use a 20-30 pound barbell for this workout but you can use whatever is comfortable for you.
I do three sets of the following:
Straight Leg Deadlifts 10 Reps
Good Mornings 10 Reps
Barbell Sumo Squats 10 Reps
Here is a video of me doing these exercises so that you can see what they are if you are unfamiliar with them! I have sped up this video quite a bit so when you do it keep your movements slow and controlled. You will see results faster if you do this.

Majestic Moisturizer
Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing another product from one of my absolute favorite brands Kopari! They just came out with a new face moisturizer and it is the bomb!! I am already obsessed with it. If you haven’t heard about Kopari you are missing out. They are a brand that is 100% in the U.S. and they have great standards that we should be looking for in brands. They are vegan and cruelty-free. Their products also have no parabens, sulfates, or silicones.
So what is their new product? It is a Coconut Water Moisture Cream, a Vegan Face Moisturizer. So what makes it different from other facial moisturizers? According to Kopari it is “loaded with skin-loving ingredients like stimulating peptides, soothing rose extract, hydrating hyaluronic acid, and refreshing coconut water. Its gel-cream texture leaves your skin feeling soft without being weighed down.” These ingredients are so good for your skin. The hyaluronic acid prevents moisture loss. The peptides help to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The rose extract helps your skin to have a more even looking skin tone.
I was lucky enough to be able to test this product out myself and it is so refreshing. I am really excited to have a new moisturizer that I know will truly be good for my skin. My skin still felt refreshed the next day, which never happens to me during the summer. It’s also been great because I haven’t been wearing as much makeup during these crazy times because half of my face is covered by a mask anyways. I don’t like getting makeup all over my masks. This way my skin tone is still even and I can still feel confident without having to do a full face of makeup, plus my skin feels so good.
I am so excited to share my code with you to get you an amazing discount on Kopari products. If you use the code below you will get 20% off of your entire purchase. I have been using their natural coconut deodorant for years and I know you will not be disappointed in their products. I truly have loved every product that I have tried from them.

How Unplugging Can Truly Help You
Hey Everyone. I wanted to share something with you all that I experienced this weekend, unplugging. I went up to the Uinta Mountains for some camping with my family. When you start heading up the dirt road to get to the campsite all cell phone service is lost. Honestly, it started to stress me out. I not only check my notifications a billion times a day but I also have a very active Poshmark account. Not having service meant potentially missing out on a sale. I felt completely addicted to my phone.
I began to think about how sad it was that I was so stressed out about it. I seriously can’t go just 48 hours without having cell phone service? I am truly dependent on my phone. Before the trip had even begun, I decided that my husband and I would take a trip to town to check my phone for sales that were pending, then head back up. That would take close to an hour alone in driving time. While we were headed up, I asked myself why? Were a few sales seriously worth missing out on quality time with my family? Hell no. I decided right then that I would not be taking that trip and I was going to unplug for the rest of the weekend.
Guess what? It felt great AND the world didn’t end. All of the sales I would have missed, I just resubmitted and they accepted my offers. It was so nice not to be on my phone the whole time and I even read part of a book. I felt so much more relaxed without my phone glued to my hand.
So what can we do to unplug without going on a trip? You can start by deciding to unplug for one hour a day. Put your phone in another room and start the timer. You will learn that just by doing this you will be more present in whatever you choose to do in that moment. You can also turn off notifications to apps you tend to spend more time on. I personally had to turn off my notifications to Instagram. If I hadn’t I would be getting different notifications all day long. I am going to do this with my Poshmark as well, so I can spend less of my day on it. You can monitor how many hours per week you are spending on each app and try to be a little better each week. Be patient with yourself, habits are hard to break and to change.
Some amazing benefits you may notice while practicing these behaviors are: improved mood, better relationships, sleeping better, increased productivity, and being more present in the moment. I believe that unplugging can make you happier because “comparison is the thief of joy”. I tend to compare myself to others on social media, so if I am spending less time on it, I am therefore happier. It helps with relationships because you can give your significant other your undivided attention they need and deserve. If you unplug an hour before bedtime it is actually proven to improve your sleep. Unplugging boosts productivity because it gives you less distractions to worry about. It can help you to become more present in the moment because you are no longer distracted by your phone, you can enjoy the little things.
I hope you will join me in a challenge to unplug more frequently. I hope you loved today’s post, if you did please subscribe below for weekly content. I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to read my post.

Super Shoulders Workout
Hey Everyone!
Today, I’ve got a super shoulder workout to tone up those shoulders!! I do these workouts about once a week. I can really see a difference in how toned my shoulders are after doing these. I like to use 5 pound dumbbells for this workout but you can use whatever is comfortable for you. I also make sure to stretch my shoulders out really well after I work them out. I have a lot of aching in my shoulders (from past injuries) after working out if I don’t stretch.
I do three sets of the following:
Dumbbell Lateral Raise 10 Reps
Dumbell External Rotations 10 Reps
Scarecrow Rotator Cuff Rotation With Outward Press 10 Reps
Shoulder Stretches:
Lying Shoulder Floor Slides 10 Reps
Lying Shoulder Bows 10 Reps
Here is a video of me doing these exercises so that you can see what they are if you are unfamiliar with them! I have sped up this video quite a bit so when you do it keep your movements slow and controlled. You will see results faster if you do this.

3-in-1 Avocado Slicer
Today, I am teaching you about a tool I discovered about a month ago, the avocado slicer. It’s been a serious game changer in our kitchen. I don’t know about your family but we love avocados. I used to tend to steer away from cutting fruits and veggies in our kitchen because I’ve actually cut myself a few times, that is until my mom showed me a great new tool.
The OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer is such a great addition to your kitchen. It has a serrated blade that cuts right through the avocado to split it in half but will not cut your hand. It has a pitter, so that you can easily remove the pit of your avocado. No more sketchy stabbing the pit with a sharp knife to remove. Simply press it onto the pit and turn. Last but not least it has a fan blade to evenly slice your avocado into perfectly even slices. It’s the perfect shape so you don’t waste any of your delicious food. If the slices are too large for your liking, simply cut them again with your slicer or a butter knife (I like smaller pieces for a salad, for instance). I have linked the slicer below, if you are interested in getting one. I do get a small referral commission if you use my link.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Please let me know in the comments below what you think of this product. I think it’s really cool. If you love my blog, please subscribe below!

Simple Heatless Curls
Hi Everyone!
Today I am doing something a little bit different for self-care. I am going to teach you how I curl my hair without heat! I actually got this idea from Milabu on Facebook. I will link her page below so that you can check it out if you are interested. She’s got a lot of great beauty tips and video tutorials. I’ve been trying to find a healthier way to style my hair lately. I hate using heat on it all of the time. I’m sure any of you that use heat on your hair know what kind of damage it can do to it. I’ve been noticing a lot of damage lately and I’ve been dying to find something new.
I tried to naturally wave my hair in a similar way but it was only turning out about half of the time, which was very frustrating. When I saw Mila’s video, I thought why not try it out. It looked like it worked great for her. So I did and it worked great. I had to share it with you guys!!
So, how do you do them? First, you want to make sure your hair is damp. I usually do it after I’ve let my hair dry for a little while after getting out of the shower. I also really like to use some products in my hair, so that it doesn’t get too fluffy. I personally use Bed Head Smalltalk and Sexy Healthy Hair Soy Oil. These products also make my hair dry faster, so I can spend less time waiting for my hair to dry. You need a robe belt (just the rope you tie your robe with), two hair ties, and a scrunchie (if you want to pull it back while it’s drying). Comb out your hair like normal and part it where you normally do. Split your hair in the back in half as if you were going to put your hair into pigtails. Place your belt one inch back from the front of your hairline and pull one side up with the scrunchie so it is not in the way. Take one inch of the front of the side you are working on and twist it around the robe belt, combine it with your next inch section and continue until you get to the end of that side of hair. Once you get to the end of the side, continue to twist your hair around the robe until you get to the end of your hair. Grab your hair tie and tie it up to finish. Take the hair out of the first scrunchie used to separate sides and repeat the process. I have attached a video below to show how it’s done.
I really love to curl my hair this way and I have been doing it for a few weeks now. Let me know if you try it out, I would love to hear about it. If you loved today’s post, please subscribe below!

At Home Abs
Hey Everyone!
Today I’ve got an at home ab workout just in time for summer!! These are some of my favorite ab exercises that I love to use frequently. I recommend doing abs about two or three times a week. Any more than that can make it so your abs don’t have time to recover in between. I’ve found that doing it this way helps to build your abs faster.
I do three sets of the following:
Butterfly Sit-ups 10 Reps
30 Second Plank
Side Plank Hip Dips 10 Reps (Each Side)
Heel Touchers 10 Reps (Each Heel)
Here is a video of me doing these exercises so that you can see what they are if you are unfamiliar with them! I have sped up this video quite a bit so when you do it keep your movements slow and controlled. You will see results faster if you do this.
I hope you loved today’s workout! Let me know what you think in the comments below. If you want to see more workouts like this please subscribe below for weekly emails. Thank you so much for checking out today’s post.

Legit Longboard
Hi Everyone!
Today I am going to talk about one of my favorite activities to do in the summer and that is longboarding! I have had two longboards since I started, my first was stolen out of my garage when I was living in North Salt Lake. My Landyacht is definitely my favorite by far. My husband Shane got it for me for my wedding present. We had been longboarding so many times before and we had so many amazing memories so it was a very thoughtful gift!
As you all know, snowboarding is my absolute favorite sport of all time. The only problem is that I can’t do it year round. I believe that longboarding is the next closest thing! I love the feeling that I get when I can feel the wind flying through my hair. It is so exhilarating!
So why choose Landyachtz over another brand? They state “The short answer is that we love skateboarding. We make the highest quality skateboards. We ride them. We scrutinize them. We push them to their limits. We figure out how to make them better. As our products evolve, so do our experiences. This symbiosis helps drive the culture of skateboarding.” You can definitely tell how much they care about their products when you ride one! My husband doesn’t have a Landyacht so he’s always asking if he can have a turn on mine!
They even have a board finder on their website!
Where can you get a Landyacht? One of my favorite skate shops is Crossroads Skate Shop in Ogden, Utah! If you are a local here in Utah, you’ve got to check them out. This is where Shane got my board and I’ve been there multiple times for snowboarding gear as well! You can get them off of their website landyachtz.com. You can also find them on Amazon!
I hope you loved today’s post! Please subscribe below if you did! Let me know what you think about this post or what you would like to learn about in the future in the comments below. Thank you so much for reading.
