    Thrive Causemetics Mascara

    Hi Everyone!

Today, I am sharing my new favorite mascara with you. Two of my friends, JoLynn and Brittani, recommended it to me. I had already seen multiple ads for it but I was still skeptical until I heard my friends’ rave about it. The mascara is called liquid lash extensions. When I wear it, it literally feels like it is just that, lash extensions. Of course without the actual weight of fake lashes, which is a huge bonus in my eyes.

I have had a hard time finding a mascara that I like, let alone love. My eyes are extremely sensitive so they tend to water a lot. This usually causes things like smudging and fall out throughout the day. Which ends up in dark raccoon eyes by the time I get home for the day. If it isn’t that it’s flaked off, ending up in my eye 90% of the time. I have only found two mascara’s that do not do this throughout the day and the second dries out and is very light after only a few days of using it. So I crossed that one off my list as well.

So I decided to take the chance and order the liquid lash extension mascara by Thrive Causemetics about a month ago. I have been absolutely hooked since. It lasts until I take it off intentionally! It also isn’t hard to get off (like the dreaded “waterproof” mascara). It looks perfect all day long. Sometimes even for multiple days if you don’t wash it off. I only had minimal flaking after some extremely sweaty workouts or sauna sessions. It also has Orchid Stem Cell Complex in it’s ingredients. This encourages and supports longer lashes!

I also learned that Thrive Causemetics is so much more than amazing mascara. Every product purchased, they donate to help women thrive.

How do they help women thrive?

    • Supporting and empowering women fighting cancer.
    • Help survivors of domestic abuse to find strength and confidence.
    • Encourage and support women seeking a way out of homelessness.
    • Honoring and celebrating our women in service.

I am happy to give my money to a company, who strives to make a difference in the world in such a positive way.

I have a $10 off $50 coupon for you if you follow the link below this!

I am so impressed by this mascara and the company. Let me know what you think. Have you tried this before? Thanks for reading, it means a lot to me.

    ChopStir Tool

    Hey Everyone!

Today, I am sharing an awesome product with you, the ChopStir tool. I didn’t even know what I was missing until I saw this on one of my Instagram friend’s stories. They were showing how well it splits up ground meat and I knew I had to try it. I ordered it that night.

Do you ever struggle with separating your ground meat when you put it into the pan? Do you feel like you are about to break your turner (also referred to as a spatula) in half? I know I did. I was immediately impressed when I tried out this new tool. It broke the meat up so much faster and it was very sturdy.

Shane and I like to buy ground turkey, since turkey is healthier for you than a lot of other meats. We also like to buy it in the roll so that it doesn’t take up as much room and it can be frozen in the original packaging. The only problem we were having was cutting it up evenly so that it cooked evenly. Not after we bought this tool.

Here is a video of Shane using it.

It has a few other uses as well, though I haven’t tried them out yet! You can chop cooked potatoes and hard boiled eggs. You can use it to break up frozen juice concentrate. You can also use it to chop up ingredients, like an avocado for guacamole. It’s also dishwasher safe, so you can just throw it in there when you are done.

Thanks so much for reading today. I hope you love this post. I really think that this product can help to ease stress while cooking. Let me know what you think or if you try it for yourself in the comments below.

    Multi-Use Kopari Organic Coconut Melt

Today, I am going to talk about my favorite brand again, Kopari! I really love their products and I want to share them with everyone! Today, I am specifically talking about their organic coconut melt. I’ve been in love with it ever since I tried it for the first time and it is extremely versatile.

    Some of the different uses:

    • Skin Moisturizer
    • Dry Shave Oil
    • Makeup Remover
    • Under Eye
    • Belly Balm (Helps To Prevent Stretch Marks While Pregnant)
    • Hair Mask
    • Massage Oil
    • The Possibilities Are Endless

My favorite uses are: skin moisturizer and makeup remover. I love to use this right after I get out of the shower and I feel as though it keeps my skin moisturized all day. It’s much better than lotion in my opinion. I also get bad migraines from the smell of lotions about 99% of the time. This product has never given me a migraine! I also love to use it for makeup remover because if you get it in your eye, it doesn’t burn like every other makeup remover. It is so soft and my makeup comes right off. I usually shave in the shower as well but next time I am in a hurry and need to shave, I am definitely going to try this out. I honestly can’t wait to use it on my belly when I decide I am ready to have kids.

Okay, we are to my favorite part about Kopari’s products. What is in it?? This product is 100% Organic Coconut Oil. That’s it. I love their products because they are all natural. They always live up to their Kopari standards: 100% Organic, Vegan, Cruelty-free, and GMO-free.

    Where can you get it?

I hope you loved today’s post. Let me know what you think in the comments below!!

    3-in-1 Avocado Slicer

Today, I am teaching you about a tool I discovered about a month ago, the avocado slicer. It’s been a serious game changer in our kitchen. I don’t know about your family but we love avocados. I used to tend to steer away from cutting fruits and veggies in our kitchen because I’ve actually cut myself a few times, that is until my mom showed me a great new tool.

The OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer is such a great addition to your kitchen. It has a serrated blade that cuts right through the avocado to split it in half but will not cut your hand. It has a pitter, so that you can easily remove the pit of your avocado. No more sketchy stabbing the pit with a sharp knife to remove. Simply press it onto the pit and turn. Last but not least it has a fan blade to evenly slice your avocado into perfectly even slices. It’s the perfect shape so you don’t waste any of your delicious food. If the slices are too large for your liking, simply cut them again with your slicer or a butter knife (I like smaller pieces for a salad, for instance). I have linked the slicer below, if you are interested in getting one. I do get a small referral commission if you use my link.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Please let me know in the comments below what you think of this product. I think it’s really cool. If you love my blog, please subscribe below!

    Incredible Instant Pot

    Hey Everyone!

Today I am talking about one of my favorite presents I have ever gotten, my Instant Pot. Shane got it for me for Christmas but since we knew around that time that we would be moving soon, I decided to leave it in the box. When we moved into our new house, it was one of the things I was so excited to try out. It ended up being one of the first boxes we opened. I had heard all of the hype around them and I couldn’t wait any longer to try it out.

I absolutely love it. One of the things that I used to struggle with was remembering to get the meat out of the freezer to thaw out either the morning of or the night before. I don’t like to go to the store everyday so we usually keep a good amount of meat frozen in our freezer. With the instant pot, most of the time you can cook your meat from completely frozen.

They have so many good recipes on Pinterest, so it makes it really easy to decide what to eat for the night. Most of the time, I have all the ingredients already so it makes it really easy. Over the next few weeks, you should be seeing some really easy recipes to make in the instant pot. I am so obsessed. They cook in a fraction of the time and taste so good! I can’t wait to share them with you.

Somethings I have learned. Don’t ever put milk in for a substitute while pressure cooking. The milk curdles and your whole meal will have to be tossed. I tried to do that for a substitute for heavy cream and that is absolutely a terrible idea. I also learned to use the exact type of meat. I substituted chicken tenderloins for chicken breasts and they were no where near cooked when I took them out. I had to improvise at that point. Also make sure that you can use frozen meat for your specific recipe, sometimes you cannot depending on what you are making.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Let me know in the comments below what kinds of recipes you want. Also let me know if you love or hate your Instant Pot. If you want to see more posts, please subscribe below. It would mean the world to me. I’ve also left a link below to the exact one that we have, if you are interested. I do get compensated if you use my link.

    Fat Gripz

    Hey Everybody!

Today I am writing about an awesome addition to your gym bag. I never go to the gym without them! They are the Fat Gripz!

I have long fingers so I find that every time I am lifting my nails are digging into my palms. It is super uncomfortable but with my Fat Gripz it doesn’t happen anymore. I also have noticed that it helps me to pay closer attention to keeping my wrists straight while lifting. This helps me to not injure my elbow further (I have golfers’ elbow). FatGripz.com states “Many people use thick bar training because of how fast it adds muscle to their body compared to standard bar but many lifters report that thick bar training has actually helped (and presumably therefore, reduced the chance of) all types of injuries including wrist, elbow and shoulders issues. It seems that thick bars shift the stress off the joints and onto the muscles which is, of course, exactly what we want.”

I absolutely love how versatile they are. You can put them on almost anything at the gym. My husband and I use them on dumbbells, barbells, cables, and some cable grips. You can even use them on pull up bars.

They have different widths of grips depending on what you are looking for. I use the Fat Gripz One which are 1.75 inches in diameter and are made for functional training. They have a 2.25 and a 2.75-inch option as well. They also have a lifetime warranty on them so you don’t have to worry about having to buy another set unless you want a different width.

Using a fatter grip also helps you to increase muscle activation. FatGripz.com states “Fat Gripz / thick bars develop levels of muscle and strength that cannot be duplicated with standard equipment. It is not uncommon for even an experienced lifter to make significant muscle gains in just a few months by switching to thick bars.”

I have attached the link below if you would like to try them! Thank you for reading today’s blog. I hope you enjoyed it. If you did, leave a comment below!

    Booty Band On The Go

    Hey Everybody!

I have a video below of a workout that I do while I am on the go. I love to bring my booty band by Flexliving with me when I am traveling. It is small and takes up almost no room in my bag which is great. They are also a company that is based out of Utah so I love that!

I was never been able to find a band that doesn’t roll up my legs while I was working out, until I used this one! I have also never had this band slide out of place on my legs, which is another huge plus! I like to use the large band for this workout as it helps you to engage your glutes more.

I brought it while I was traveling for two weeks with only a small backpack that had to weigh under 22 pounds! As I have said before staying in shape while traveling is not very hard as long as it is one of your priorities.

This workout is a great one for your glutes as well as your legs!

I do three sets of the following:

Lateral Leg Lifts 10 reps each leg

Donkey kicks 10 reps each leg

Fire hydrants 10 reps each leg

Hip thrusters 20 reps (unless you add weight then do 10 reps)

    Squat side lifts 15 reps

    Squat jumps 15 reps

    Banded adduction 20 reps

You can get the exact band that I use by following the link below! If you use code HAYLEY10, you will also get 10% off!
