Sugary Alcohol Drink Alternative
Hey Everyone!
Today I am sharing a recipe for a healthier alternative to the sugary alcohol drinks that have a million calories. Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to give up having a drink with your friends. Sometimes you just have to be creative.
One of my friends shared an idea with me about a year ago for a healthier alternative. Don’t worry it still tastes great, way better than the low calorie seltzers in my opinion. Plus it has less calories too.
Raspberry Vodka Lemonade!
Ingredients:
1 bottle of water (500mL)
1 Oz of Vodka (I use 80 proof)
1 Raspberry Lemonade Drink Mix (I love Kroger)
Recipe:
- Mix ingredients together.
- Enjoy.
I was trying to get in better shape last summer and that’s when I realized how many calories were in some of the drinks I was drinking. I was surprised to say the least. That’s when I started to try out some alternatives.
Here is a chart of some current popular drinks and how many calories they contain:
Drink Calories Raspberry Vodka Lemonade 65 Raspberry Smirnoff Ice 228 White Claw 100 Mikes Hard Lemonade 220 Budlight Beer (12 oz can) 110 Arnold Palmer Spiked 220 I have loved drinking this healthier alternative. Not only does it have less calories it is extremely cheap to make too. It costs about $1 per lemonade for everything listed in the ingredients. Let me know if you try it out in the comments below. Legit Longboard
Hi Everyone!
Today I am going to talk about one of my favorite activities to do in the summer and that is longboarding! I have had two longboards since I started, my first was stolen out of my garage when I was living in North Salt Lake. My Landyacht is definitely my favorite by far. My husband Shane got it for me for my wedding present. We had been longboarding so many times before and we had so many amazing memories so it was a very thoughtful gift!
As you all know, snowboarding is my absolute favorite sport of all time. The only problem is that I can’t do it year round. I believe that longboarding is the next closest thing! I love the feeling that I get when I can feel the wind flying through my hair. It is so exhilarating!
So why choose Landyachtz over another brand? They state “The short answer is that we love skateboarding. We make the highest quality skateboards. We ride them. We scrutinize them. We push them to their limits. We figure out how to make them better. As our products evolve, so do our experiences. This symbiosis helps drive the culture of skateboarding.” You can definitely tell how much they care about their products when you ride one! My husband doesn’t have a Landyacht so he’s always asking if he can have a turn on mine!
They even have a board finder on their website!
Where can you get a Landyacht? One of my favorite skate shops is Crossroads Skate Shop in Ogden, Utah! If you are a local here in Utah, you’ve got to check them out. This is where Shane got my board and I’ve been there multiple times for snowboarding gear as well! You can get them off of their website landyachtz.com. You can also find them on Amazon!
I hope you loved today’s post! Please subscribe below if you did! Let me know what you think about this post or what you would like to learn about in the future in the comments below. Thank you so much for reading.

Stunning Summer Abs
Hey everybody!
Today’s workout is an awesome ab workout to get your body ready for the summer! These are some of my favorite abs to do. I like to do these around 3-4 times a week. If you do them too frequently you won’t give your body enough time to recover.
Do 4 sets of the following:
10 reverse crunches
10 lying leg rises
10 leg flutters
10 cross crunches (each side)
10 Russian twists
10 heel touches (each side alternating)
10 toe reaches
